MITE, Mangalore Institute of Technology & Engineering has released admission notification 2014 for PG courses in Engineering & Business Administration.
Courses for which admission is sought:
M.Tech courses in Mechatronics (18 seats), Computer Science (24 seats), VLSI & Embedded Design (24 seats), Computer Network Engineering (24 seats) and digital Electronics Communication (24 seats)
M.B.A course in Marketting, Finance, Human Resource Management, Systems and Banking & Insurance.
Eligibility:
Candidates should have the following eligibility criteria for applying to these courses.
For M.Tech courses, B.E/B.Tech with first or second class in appropriate branch of engineering.
For M.B.A course, candidates should have passed the University graduation examination conducted by any University board or any other examinations recognised by the University or equivalent thereto, with a minimum of 50% aggregate in arts , commerce or science.
Selection process:
Only based on the rank list prepared by conducting an entrance test for M.B.A. Candidates applying for M.Tech courses need not to appear for test. They will be selected based on the merit list from marks scored in their UG degree.
About the entrance test:
A test CMAT for admission in MBA Programmes in AICTE approved institutions, Which is computer-based test (CBT). It will be conducted twice a year. Candidates is free to write both the term test and better one will be considered for admission.
