Madurai Kamaraj university invites application from eligible candidates for the admission into its PG and integrated courses offered at university campus for the next commencing academic year 2014-15.
Courses offered:
- Integrated B.Tech-M.Tech courses in Film and Electronics Media Studies, This is 3+2 years course.
- Integrated B.B.A-M.BA in Tourism and Hotel Management. It is also 3+2 years course,
- Integrated M.Sc-Ph.D courses are listed below:
> M.Sc in Microbial Gene Technology,
> M.Sc in Bio-Chemical Technology,
> MCA, MBA in Hospital Administration
> M.Sc in Sub-Aqua Marine Ecology and Toxicogenomics, Electronics and Instrumentation (E&I).
Eligibility:
Candidates seeking admission to MK university should have done their study under 10+2+3 or 10+3+2 or 10+1+4 pattern and those who are undergoing the VI semester/III year (Non-Semester) are also eligible to apply. However SC/ST candidates are exempted from the application fee. Those (SC/ST) who wish to apply for additional courses, should pay registration fees. However, they need to send the photo copy of the community certificate along with the application. Application from non-resident Indians and foreign nationals are also welcome under special quota allotted for them. Candidates should write their name, complete address and course for which applied in block letters on the reverse side of the demand draft.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on the marks scored in the +2 exam for the integrated B.Tech-M.Tech and B.B.A-M.B.A courses. For all other courses mentioned above, the selection will be done based on entrance test conducted by MK university and followed by seminar, group discussion and personal interview.
How to apply:
Candidates are requested to apply after downloading the prospectus, application and fees details for all courses mentioned above from the www.mkuniversity.org. You can too use the photo copies of downloaded applications. Filled in application along with a demand draft of Rs 600/- as registration fee drawn in favour of the Registrar, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai payable at Madurai should be submitted or sent to the Registrar, Madurai Kamaraj University, Palkalai Nagar, Madurai-625021, on or before the last date mentioned below.
