Courses offered:
In the area of Oil & Gas, the following courses are offered:
- B.Tech Applied Petroleum Engg with Specialization in Upstream
- B.Tech Applied Petroleum Engg with Specialization in Gas
- B.Tech Chemical Engineering with Specialization in Refining & Petrochemicals
- B.Tech Geo-Informatics Engineering
- B.Tech Geo-Science Engineering
- B.Tech Mining Engineering

In the area of power, the following two courses are offered:
- B. Tech. Power System Engineering
- B. Tech. Energy Technology plus L.L. B. with specialization in Intellectual Property Right.

In the area of mechanical engineering, the courses offered are:
- B. Tech. Automotive Design Engineering
- B.Tech Mechanical
- B.Tech Production & Industrial Engineering.

- B.Tech Civil Engineering with specialization in Infrastructure Development is offered in the area of infrastructure.

- B.Tech Aerospace Engineering which is offered in the field of aerospace.

In the field of Health, Safety & Environment, the course, B. Tech Fire & Safety Engineering, is offered.

Eligibility:
Candidates should have passed in the H.Sc examination or equivalent with a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in the maths, Physics and Chemistry. Marks are varied for different community.  Community reservation is as per state government norms.
