1. Discuss the importance of promotion in marketing with the help of
suitable examples. Also explain various tools of promotion.
2. Why do companies regularly introduce new products ? Explain various
stages in new product development in detail.
3. Explain various functions performed by marketing channels.
4. “Packaging is a silent salesman.” Comment. Justify your answer with
the help of suitable examples.
5. “Marketing mix has to be altered at different stages of product life
cycle.” Do you agree ? Justify.
6. What is the significance of ‘price’ element in marketing and overall
business activities ? Also discuss various factors that influence pricing
decisions.
7. Write short notes on (any two) :
