Q.1 (a) Expalin Newton’s Law of Visocity?

Q.3 (a) State the Bernoulli’s Equation of fluid flow? Find the Kinematic

Visocity of an oil having Density 981kg/m 3 The Shear Stress at a Point in oil is 0.2452N/m

and Velocity Gradient at that Point is 0.2 per second?

(b) The Velocity distribution for flow over a flat plate is given by u=3/4 y-y 2

in which u is the velocity in metre per second at a distance y metre above the plate. Determine the shear Stress at y=0.15m. Take a dynamic Visocity of fluid as 8.6 poise? by Chezy’s Formula?

Q.8 (a) Explain Mechanical Guages and Simple Manometers?

(b) Determine the total Pressure on a circular Plate of diameter 1.5m

which is placed Vertically in water in Such a way that the centre of

the plate is below the free surface of Water. Find the position of

Centre of Pressure also?
