(vii) Comment on the title of Two Virgins.
(viii) Write a short note on the setting of Two Virgins.
(ix) Comment on the symbolism in The Grapes Of Wrath.
(x) Briefly comment on Sergeant Troy's character.

UNIT I
2.Write an essay on narrative technique in a fiction.
3.Discuss in detail the Epistolary Novel.

UNIT II
4.Attempt a character-sketch of Lalitha in Two Virgins.
5.Write an essay on theme of Two Virgins.

UNIT III
6. Discuss Far From The Madding Crowd as a Regional Novel.
7.Attempt a critical estimate of the character of Gabriel Oak in Far From The Madding Crowd.

UNIT IV
8.Discuss John Steinbeck's art of plot construction.
9.Write a note on the character of Tom Joad or Ma.
