1. (a) What is meant by aspect ratio?
(b) Explain the difference between a general graphics system designed for a programmer and one designed for a specific application, such as architectural design.
(c) Explain the working of plasma panel display.
2. (a) compute the intermediate points on the line drawn from (0,0)to (5,10) using bresenhams algorithm.
(b) What are the refreshing display devices? Describe the working principle of CRT display with the
help of suitable diagram. Differentiate between random and raster scan display devices.
3. (a) explain mid point ellipse generation algorithm with example.
(b) What are the important factors for comparison of different line drawing algorithms? What is the best algorithm for line drawing and why?
4. (a) derive a general 2D transformation matrix for rotation about the origin. Perform a 45 degree
rotation of a square having vertices A(0,0),B(0,2),C(2,2),D(2,0), about the origin.
