2. Explain the importance and functions of front office.
3. What is front office department? Elaborate the duties of front office
personnel.
4. What do you understand by Reservation? Explain the functions and types
of reservation system.
5. Discuss various types of Travelers. Under what circumstance you can deny
the reservation for the travellers?
6. List out the main duties of the reception department. How will you
entertain a VIP request for a stay?
7. Enumerate the check-in procedures. Explain the different method of
payment.
8. Discuss the various registers maintained and reports generated by the
hotels.
9. Explain the types of folios maintained in Hotels. What is the checkout
procedures followed in Hotels?
10. What are the precautions taken and arrangements made for foreign
travellers?
