IBSD Ph.D admissions 2014

Institute Of Bioresources And Sustainable Development (IBSD), is inviting applications for admission into its PhD programme in Biological Sciences of the institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India.

The area of research:

- Plant Bioresources,
- Microbial Bioresources,
- Natural Product Chemistry and
- Animal Bioresources.

Eligibility:
You are required to get 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) in aggregate <B or B+ only in the 10 pant scale) in the Master’s Degree Examination in the above mentioned subject areas such Biotechnology, Microbiology, Botany, Plant Sciences, Chemistry, Organic chemistry, Natural product chemistry, Zoology, Animal Sciences, Fish and Fishery sciences, Physiology, etc.

^ Preference will be given to CSIR-UGC NET/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF /1CAR-JRF qualified  candidates

^ NET/SLET/SET qualified candidates are also eligible to apply

^ GATE qualified candidates  with minimum 90% marks in PG may also apply

^ NET/SLET/SET qualified candidates are required to appear for the Ph.D entrance test 2014.

Filled in application form should reach the office on or before 4th January, 2014.
